Declared by Chasyn as “The Day of Reckoning,” this match may very well mark the end of Rhiannon as we know her. What began as a hard-fought, back-and-forth battle between trainer and student quickly turned into a brutal lesson. Rhiannon, long considered Chasyn’s favorite student and one he held the highest hopes for, attempted to step beyond her station—and sometimes a student trying to outdo the trainer leads to consequences. Severe ones. What followed was a violent chess match filled with strikes, submissions, relentless smack talk, and ultimately, utter destruction, as Chasyn decisively decimated Rhiannon.
Rhiannon exploded out of the gate with a Thesz Press, stiff strikes, a powerful spear, and a sharp slap that genuinely caught Chasyn off guard. The two traded momentum with headlock takedowns, head-scissors reversals, and rapid counters until Rhiannon launched herself with a flying crossbody—only for Chasyn to catch her mid-air and slam her to the mat. Chasyn quickly transitioned into a Japanese Stranglehold, forcing Rhiannon to struggle for air before she was pulled into a crushing bear hug and dropped with a brutal Manhattan Drop.
As Chasyn attempted to cinch in the Scorpion Crosslock, Rhiannon resorted to clawing at his eyes to escape. The fight spilled into the ropes, where they tangled briefly before breaking apart. Chasyn regained control, hoisting Rhiannon onto his shoulders for a punishing Gory Special. After another exchange, Chasyn scored a sunset flip, but Rhiannon answered by targeting his head and leaping into a guillotine choke, throwing her full weight down on him. Chasyn eventually countered with a snap suplex, floated over, and once again wrapped her up on the mat.
Rhiannon fired back with a jawbreaker followed by a neckbreaker, smashed her knee into Chasyn’s face, and trapped him in the ropes with a Tarantula. She transitioned into a figure-four head scissors and repeatedly delivered the Devil’s Kiss, pushing Chasyn to the brink. When she attempted a Headlock Driver, Chasyn countered, and the two battled furiously until Rhiannon executed a flying head-scissors into an O’Connor Roll, forcing a lightning-fast count.
Chasyn immediately called foul—and from that moment on, the tone changed completely.
He took over with merciless intent, stomping Rhiannon into the canvas and unleashing eight devastating piledrivers, including one on the floor, followed by two figure-four leg locks for added punishment. Chasyn pinned her repeatedly, most emphatically after the final piledriver, leaving no doubt about the outcome.
